Business Process Analyst – Public Sector Consulting Project

The Business Process Analyst will support a comprehensive business process improvement initiative involving the assessment and documentation of administrative and operational workflows.
Working under the direction of the project's senior leadership, the analyst will meet with employees and management, observe day-to-day activities, document current-state processes, gather business requirements, identify inefficiencies and root causes, and assist with developing practical future-state improvements.
The successful candidate must be comfortable looking beyond written procedures to understand how work is actually performed. This includes identifying manual workarounds, intermediate steps, handoffs, approvals, exceptions, information exchanges, delays, and undocumented practices that may affect overall process performance.
This role requires someone who can take complex operational information and translate it into clear, structured process maps, requirements, findings, and recommendations.
