Computer Support Specialist

Jennifer Temps is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to provide account management and technical assistance support within a structured government office environment in Central New York. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and attention to detail.


Your Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting for account-related issues and access questions
  • Perform account provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Assist with password resets and MFA setup/reset
  • Troubleshoot internal and external MFA and RSA token issues
  • Guide users through system navigation and role assignments
  • Process paper and electronic documents for account setup
  • Scan, key, and verify documents in tracking systems and FileNet
  • Mail account activation instructions and PIN letters
  • Maintain and update records and files
  • Operate office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers)
  • Respond to written and telephone inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Our requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of technical support or help desk experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience troubleshooting account access and MFA issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured office environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with identity and access management systems
  • Experience with FileNet or document tracking systems
  • Experience in a government or regulated environment
  • Familiarity with RSA tokens and authentication systems
