Computer Support Specialist
Jennifer Temps is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to provide account management and technical assistance support within a structured government office environment in Central New York. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and attention to detail.
Your Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide troubleshooting for account-related issues and access questions
- Perform account provisioning and deprovisioning
- Assist with password resets and MFA setup/reset
- Troubleshoot internal and external MFA and RSA token issues
- Guide users through system navigation and role assignments
- Process paper and electronic documents for account setup
- Scan, key, and verify documents in tracking systems and FileNet
- Mail account activation instructions and PIN letters
- Maintain and update records and files
- Operate office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers)
- Respond to written and telephone inquiries from internal and external customers
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Our requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of technical support or help desk experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience troubleshooting account access and MFA issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured office environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with identity and access management systems
- Experience with FileNet or document tracking systems
- Experience in a government or regulated environment
- Familiarity with RSA tokens and authentication systems
