Provide direct nursing care and treatment in accordance with Article 139 of the NYS Education Law and facility policies. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy, safety, and documentation compliance. Perform nursing care procedures and support implementation of individualized treatment plans. Monitor, record, and report changes in physical or emotional condition to supervising clinicians. Obtain and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, oxygen saturation, and weight. Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting. Observe and maintain infection-control standards, safety procedures, and fall-prevention protocols. Provide health teaching and education to individuals and families to support well-being and independence. Assist with care coordination, hand-off reporting, and communication with interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate electronic and written clinical records in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements. Ensure dignity, respect, privacy, and resident rights in all interactions.
