Maintain a valid Physical Therapy degree and New York State licensure in good standing.

Obtain and review individuals’ medical information, including health histories and relevant clinical documentation.

Examine and evaluate individuals’ physical and neurological condition using appropriate tests and measurements to assess movement-related disorders.

Develop, implement, and update individualized physical therapy treatment plans, including goals and anticipated outcomes.

Select, administer, and monitor therapeutic treatment modalities, including heat, cold, light, air, water, sound, electricity, massage, mobilization, and therapeutic exercise, with or without assistive devices.

Conduct and supervise individual and group physical therapy sessions.

Observe, document, and evaluate individuals’ progress and response to treatment, modifying care plans and interventions as needed.

Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to ensure coordinated care delivery.

Participate in bi-weekly care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
